Located in the premises of Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Loni, the Raj Kapoor Memorial is characterised by its sprawling garden and impressive architecture. The Rajbaug, next to which the museum has been constructed, is the family heirloom mansion of the Kapoors.

The entire museum is dedicated to the legendary Bollywood superstar Raj Kapoor. It has life-size exhibits of people who played a pivotal role in his private as well as professional lives. Several blockbuster movies like Mera Naam Joker, Satyam Shivam Sundaram and Prem Rog are known to have been shot at this location. The museum also houses statues of Amitabh Bachchan, Rajendra Kumar, Vaijayanti Mala, Nargis, Shashi Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor. An audio-visual system that works with sensors constantly plays famous dialogues from the biggest hits of Raj Kapoor.
